About HumaniQ

 Pierre Parent and Darshan Singh founded HumaniQ with a shared mission: to give organizations a competitive advantage through high-quality, third-party, exit interview services.  


 Together, Pierre and Darshan leverage their extensive HR expertise to deliver thorough, unbiased exit interviews and holistic, practical recommendations. Their approach not only uncovers why employees are leaving, but also provides organizations with clear strategies to strengthen culture, engagement, and retention. 

Pierre Parent, MPA - Managing Partner

Pierre brings more than 30 years of experience as a Human Resources practitioner, having served in senior leadership roles within the public sector. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations improve retention and reduce turnover by implementing modern, evidence-based HR practices—including comprehensive exit interview programs.


Pierre has personally conducted countless exit interviews, gathering actionable insights that contributed directly to two of his former employers being selected as Top 100 Employers. His ability to identify trends, surface root causes, and translate findings into clear recommendations has been a defining strength throughout his career.


In addition to his HR leadership experience, Pierre has operated a successful private practice where he conducted workplace investigations and organizational assessments. In this capacity, he led numerous fact-finding interviews to support formal findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Pierre is also a trained mediator and investigator—skills that enhance his ability to ask meaningful questions, build trust, and listen deeply.

Darshan Singh, B.Com, B.A. - Managing Partner

Darshan brings more than 25 years of experience as a Human Resources practitioner, having  served in senior leadership roles in both HR operations and corporate HR within the public and private sectors. His focus has been on bringing practical change and modernization to established practices by focusing on every organization’s most important resource; their people. Throughout his career, he has helped organizations recruit top talent and then focused on improving retention and reducing turnover by implementing modern, evidence-based, HR practices— including comprehensive exit interview programs. 


Darshan has personally conducted countless exit interviews, gathering actionable insights to assist his organizations in finding and retaining “hard to get” talent. His ability to identify trends, surface root causes, and translate findings into clear recommendations has been a  defining strength throughout his career.  


In addition to his HR leadership experience, Darshan has had the opportunity and privilege to  provide consulting services via a private practice where he conducted and implemented HR modernization principles and provided strategic advice and counsel in an effort to provide his clients with best-in-class HR practice and process to recruit, develop, and retain top talent. In this  capacity, he led numerous fact-finding interviews to support formal findings, conclusions, and  recommendations. Darshan is also a trained recruiter, labour relations, and employment equity  professional — skills that enhance his ability to provide a comprehensive set of analyses to  provide insight, build trust, and listen deeply.
